Debug it Reflection

I used a very simple debug it strategy. i just did trial and error until i was able to make a solution for the problem. I would let someone else see whatI did for the debug it and see if they could find another way to make the solution.

Debug it 1.5

I think all the debug it's required me to think but not overly hard.

Debug it 1.4

This was a very simple debug it. It didn't take very long to figure out

Try it out

This was our second Scratch project. I tried to make mine really cool but ended up over complicating it formyself,. My teacher told me I could just pass it in anyway.

Make A Block

Make a block we created by using a youtube video to teach us techniques needed to create this project.

debug it 1.3

This challenge was not as hard as I assumed it would be. I began to over think the process that needed to be taken in order to complete the debug

Debug-it 1.2

Debug 1.2 was more difficult number 1 but it worked well in the end

Debug-it 1.1 solution

The sprite named Gobo wouldn't begin dancing because he didn't have a command to dance. So I added the when green flag is pressed command and it solved the issue

Moving

The next project we did was called moving. We had to have 3 sprites do the same movements starting and ending in the same spot

10 Block Challenge

My latest scratch project! This was called the 10 block challenge. We were given 10 specific blocks of directions to use our imaginations to have the sprite move as we wanted. It was a fun project to be apart of

Blog post #2 Into to HTML

3.
-How to add links
-How to create a table
- How to insert images

2.
-I learned that you must have every piece of code working in order for the HTML file to work properly
-I learned that you need to try a few times before something will look correct.

1. I am concerned that I will mess up something in the beginning of the concept map and it will ruin my whole project.

Why computers use binary

3. -Voltage changes based on the loudness or the softness of the music being played.
    - I learned binary is a base 2 system
    - The reason they use a base 2 system is it has the fewest digits

2. -I don't understand why he says you don't buy a cheaper computer.
   - I don't understand why there isn't a base one binary system.

1.- I would like to know more about how the binary affects a computer and if it could run without binary.

Google Boys

Google turned into a large profitable corporation from a 2 man operation by creators Brin and Paige. They originally idea they had was to sell the company but they realized it would be smarter to keep it. They faced challenges like business promotions for other sites and creating Googlebot. Googlebot helps narrow down searches to insure the best and most accurate answer. This helped them stay ahead of competition such as Safari, Bing, Yahoo and Firefox. Also their information online helps to warn people about health care.

Eliza Blog post

4. Do you see in the future that computers could be a good 'human-like" substitute?

1. No I do not find that Eliza is human like because she can't really follow a conversation and mostly just aggravates people.

2. I would program her to answer simple questions like answer how old are you or when is your birthday. It will make her seem fro realistic

3. If they people who created Eliza are trying to make her seem realistic she needs to be able to answer question relating emotions. Simple questions such as how is your day going, how do you feel should be able to be answered.

4. No i do not think that this computer will ever be "human like." Nothing will ever replace a person to person contact.

Native Americans

1. The beadwork is known for its beauty.
2. A key concept we will be using is math.
3. This design is based off 4 fold symmetry.
4.The 4 images have triangles or forms of different triangles in common.
5. Navajo rug, Pawnee hide Drum, Shoshone beadwork and Embroidery Plain Indians
6. Mirror imaging on both sides of an object is reflection symmetry.
7. Base 4 counting in Native American culture is teepee's having 4 poles
8. Four fold symmetry number 3 is commonly used in healing ceremonies like the Medicine man uses colored powder and washes away the drawing and the illness.
9. 4 fold symmetry number 4 is used shown and used by the Youpik in Alaska used by the Eskimos
10.  4 fold number 5 is used in a bead loom that have beads on the x and y axis.
11. It was created before European contact
12. 2 examples of these designs are the friendship treaty between the US and the Iroqouis and the other is wampum beads

Communication

I use the basic uses of commutation like any other person text email phone call but I also use snap chat and Instagram. This causes me to be some what addicted to my phone and use it more than i I probably should. My brother doesn't have phone but he plays more games on  his ipod than I do. I rarely play games on my phone where you can almost always find him playing a game on his ipod.

Welcome to my blog

Hi, My name is Michaela Boyle. I'm a 10th grader at RMHS. I play hockey for the Boston Shamrocks out of Wilmington, Massachusetts. I have a younger brother who is 9 named Mark. My family consists of my mom, dad, brother and 2 dogs. When I grow up I want to attend Northeastern University and study exercise science like my father. My dad owns a gym in Woburn, Massachusetts called Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning. Hopefully one day when he retires I will have the honor of inhering the business. In 2013 my father won a World Series with the Boston Red Sox and he was honored at Opening Day on April 14th, 2014 along with the rest of the team.
